This Luxe Motor 1800 was built in 1929 as a sand ship with a length of approximately 25 m. After much wandering, she was shortened to 18.25 m by the Zwartsluis shipyard in 1996 and provided with new decks and superstructure. Subsequently, the Luxe Motor is fully equipped for a long and comfortable stay on board.
The current owner has had the Luxe Motor 1800 in his possession since 2009 and has spared no effort to keep her in a very good condition.
An overview of the work carried out since 2009:
* The entire ship was painted in 2019;
* In 2011, the woodwork of the wheelhouse was replaced and fitted with double glazing;
* The wheel house roof was extended over the aft deck in 2011;
* Four solar panels installed in 2017;
* Double glazed windows installed in the saloon in 2010.
