Designed as a low-cost for single-handed sailing, the Scaffie has no centreplate, relying instead on water ballast and two deep bilge keels. A very capable sea boat, in the right hands, she is easily trailed, rigged and sailed by one or two people but equally at home with a couple of adults and small children. She can be rowed, motored and sailed with the absolute minimum of time spent faffing about with rigging etc! This example is AS NEW.

This boat has a rich history, which I have briefly outlined below. Proving to be very robust, operating as a passenger tour boat on the sea, also ideally suited for inland waterways, remembering that she was originally designed to be beached.
Offering indoor covered seating and outdoor seating proving to be very versatile for the UK weather. There are toilets, drinks and snacks provisions, affording wide panoramic views inside and out.
Boat operating licences are up to date, with a full maintenance record and engine servicing. The engines ran well for the engine video.

I had a great time videoing and photographing this Macduff traditional Motor Sailor.
It was fortunate that I was able to see the boat out of the water, then subsequently in the water at her mooring, from which the owner kindly brought her in to the landing pontoon followed by a sail past.
Freshly painted and prepared for the coming season and the cold engine start ratified what the owner said about how reliable she was in starting.
The owner tells me that she sails quite well with a gaff Rigg and has the advantage of having a furling head sail along with a hank on if desired.

There is no doubting it, this boat has been lovingly cared for which is very evident from the moment when you first set eyes on her with so much attention to detail and everything so carefully thought out.
The décor is light and airy, all the cabins have an ensuite shower room, electric toilets, and DVD set. The starboard cabin, currently configured for two single beds, can easily be made into a double.
The kitchen is well equipped including waste disposal unit, Neff induction hob and oven, washing machine and dryer, microwave, fridges, and freezer, and with more than adequate cupboard...

The Carvel-Built former fishing vessel built in Esbjerg in 1939 by the Jensen Boatyard and converted for domestic and pleasure use in the early 1990s is a true maritime gem with a rich history and versatile design. Let's break down some of its key features:
Built in 1939, this vessel carries with it the legacy of traditional craftsmanship and heavy timber construction, which was typical for fishing vessels of that era. Its history as a working f...

The Colvic 26 is now lying up on the hard ready for the next owner.
Recognising she would benefit from a bit more TLC, she is priced to sell, the owner is not in a position to sail her anymore.
She comes pretty well equipped, and ideal for a low-cost sailing experience.

The Princess 33 is a well-established design, and this 1978 model is no exception.
Benefitting from new engines in 1998 with relatively low hours, should provide many more years of motor boating.
In the time the current owner has had custody of her he has maintained her and added a good array of navigation equipment. She comes as the complete package including dinghy, outboard and davits to hold the dinghy for ease of access.
Upgrades since purchase in 2015 (in addition to regular maintenance): generally carried out in early years (2015/2017) unless otherwise indicated.
